I've postponed further discussion of Bloodshot #12 to hail the return of Shadowman from the Deadside. This new series of Shadowman is a big deal. In fact, the good folks at Valiant have made a video to celebrate the release of Shadowman #1 on April 28. Enjoy!
To watch it, here's the link:
Excited? I am!
If you're a fan of Valiant Comics and Shadowman, it's never been more important to tell your comic shop or order service that you want this series. The more initial Shadowman orders Valiant Entertainment gets, and the more they receive as the series continues, will ultimately determine how long the series lasts.
It's not like Valiant Entertainment will be wreaking havoc with your bank accounts anyway. (Unless, perhaps, you order the Jeff Dekal Black Glass Variant Cover). For the next few months, the only two titles we'll see from Valiant are Savage and Shadowman. So if, like me, you long for the return of heroes like X-O Manowar, Bloodshot, and Ninjak, it's important that we support all the series Valiant Entertainment currently produces. In other words, Savage and Shadowman.
Shadowman by Andy Diggle Deluxe Edition HC |
One last thought. Valiant Entertainment is releasing a deluxe hardcover edition of writer Andy Diggle's 2018 series on March 21. So if you haven't read that eleven issues, or the associated trade paperback editions, you might want to add this handsome edition to your bookcase. I enjoyed that series, even if it was different from what I expected, and ended too quickly.
Let's all get behind this upcoming Shadowman series to make sure it lasts the entirety of its scheduled twelve-issue run!
