Ninjak #4: All The Covers & Why You Need Them

Ninjak #4 Cover A by Fernando Dagnino

Right away, Fernando Dagnino whirls us into a vortex of action with his stunning Ninjak #4 Cover A. This cover reminds us of the training Ninjak undertook in the MI-6 Ninja program, as well as the tremendous fight he survived in Ninjak #1. While symbolic of the entire series, now that Ninjak's identity of Colin King is known to the world, you'll discover that events in Ninjak #4 will make Colin even more of a wanted man.

Ninjak #4 Cover B by Robbi Rodriguez

Robbi Rodriguez takes a break from his duties on The Harbinger to contribute this cosmic Ninjak #4 Cover B. The angel atop the pedestal in the background reminds me of my visits to Colin's homeland. Angels adorn many of the famous monuments in England, including those of royal castles and mansions of the British royal family.

As Colin is a son of the aristocracy, this makes him an elite protector of his nation.

Ninjak #4 Pre-Order Cover by Pedro Andreo

Bloodshot artist Pedro Andreo packs many great ideas and concepts into his thoughtful Ninjak #4 Pre-Order Cover. On the bottom, we see a ship cruising around an island, with the sun shining its rays of Daylight in the background. We see people hanging out at a party. We see a woman--a warrior?--standing before a target. We see Songbird agent Myna with her binoculars. Say, is that Nevil talking to Colin on the phone?

When you read Ninjak #4, you'll learn what island Pedro is referencing. You'll understand why the guests are partying. You'll learn why the target is even more appropriate.

I absolutely love the way Pedro depicts Ninjak primed for action, as well as all the detail on his swords. As usual, leave it to the good folks at Valiant Comics to deliver my favorite--and most story-centric cover--with their Ninjak Pre-Order covers!

Well, there you have them: three beautiful covers for Ninjak #4, the final issue in the Daylight story arc. Congratulations Fernando Dagnino, Robbi Rodriguez, and Pedro Andreo on your efforts. As usual, I need them all!

And of course, Valiant fans, so do you.
