As long-time readers of this blog may remember, it was while reading the '90s run of X-O Manowar that inspired me to begin this blog. The original Archer and Armstrong is also noteworthy, as it gave Barry Windsor-Smith, the British artist who helped Roy Thomas introduce Conan The Barbarian to comics, another way to shine, a chance to delve into buddy-cop comedy/adventure mode. And what a great romp it is, with bar-fights, shootouts, car chases, and dinosaurs! Highly recommended
